On tour in America, Part 2

Our tour across the Western half of the US is now sadly over.  It was one of the most fun tours I’ve ever done, and it was awesome to share the stage with Mister Heavenly every night.  The last string of dates took us from Texas (Denton, Austin, El Paso) through Phoenix, and ended back in our home state at Bar Pink in San Diego the day before yesterday.  I’m already on a plane (right now!) flying from SFO to London for our next string of European dates.  Here are some more pictures from the rest of our tour.

After we headed East after our San Francisco show it was over 100 degrees every single day.  In Phoenix, it reached 120 (44C!!!).  It was over 100 at 2am.  Luckily, our hotel in Phoenix had some mist for us.

Fat Tony opened two of the shows.  Here is Tony and our Viking guitarist Nikolai.

After every show, people thought Mark was in WATERS or Mister Heavenly, because he kind of looks like a cross between Nick and I, maybe kinda?  He’s their merch man.

On our way from Phoenix (120 degrees) to San Diego (mid-70s), we passed through the Algodones sand dunes and got out of the van and ran around like crazy.

Nikolai pleaded with the tour gods for some cooler temperatures and some some ocean to bathe in.

And they delivered.

All in all, it was a super amazing tour, and I’m so pumped to have this record come out (sooooooooon!).

Pictures from our European tour starting Sept. 9th coming soon..
